10 Week Ultrasounds!

These are from the 10 week ultrasounds we had done with the GROW study. Here's the address for the hi-res images again - http://www.brianroelofs.com/soybean/

The most exciting part of this one for me was that we got to see Soybean moving! At the last one, there was only a flicker for the heartbeat and no other movement as Soybean was just starting to get it's limbs. This time, the arms and legs were flailing around and it would arch it's entire back and wiggle around. Can't feel anything yet, since it's still small, but it's neat to know that something is going on in there. Brian asks me every once in awhile what Soybean's doing now and so far my response has been "nothing", now I can say jumping jacks, ballet, kickboxing...

Soybean measured in at 4cm (1.6") and its heartbeat was 167 beats per minute. Both are right in line with where they should be again, so far so good!

  1. Oh, those jumping jacks, ballet, and kickboxing moves will become all too real pretty soon!
